Scope creep - and the crew called me on it. Stepping back a little so I can actually enjoy the boat this season.
I remade the panel in aluminum then covered in flat vinyl... it came out great. Some bubbles, but they dissipate at the outgassing stops.
Rewiring will happen next winter when I redo everything. In all actuality, there's at least ten straight hours in getting the wiring right. At the moment it still works. A little rearranging of some wiring and we'll be good.
One thing that's been a pain... waiting on parts from Livorsi. It's taken a month to get a replacement water pressure gauge. It's a white industrial gauge... I thought that would be an easy one to get.
Progress...
1. Frozen trim ram replaced (got a nice set from Tim/Full Force and replace both on the port side).
2. Engine hatch complete and back on the boat.
3. Leaking heat exchanger fixed (raw water side).
Left to do:
1. Install gauge panel once I get the parts from Livorsi.
2. Setup O2 monitor.
3. Change drive oil.
4. Bath.
5. Launch.
Oh... trailer brakes (argh).

Gauge panel…
If I come across a factory panel, I’ll use that next year. Or maybe have one made locally using the 3-layer “trophy” panel that’s close to the original.
At this point, I just want to get her on the water!
