That's where my trailer came from, it used to sit under that 336. I can't remember the guy's name, young dude. He bought the boat out of Ontario, Canada. It's only been down south a few years now. As I recall, he had the engines freshened professionally at no small cost. I never saw the boat in person but it does look super-nice. Last I knew he was asking a pretty hefty amount for it. He used to be on here but I haven't noticed him in a while.

I guess I could have saved that whole diatribe, just revisted the ad, it's all in there.

I have been looking at this ad for a while. If only I had more $$$. I really like that boat.

mine was the first 336 with 525sc's. My boat was featured in Powerboat mag and won offshore boat of the year in 1995
the sea trial claimed 84 mph, but that is in question
I have the original magazine someone on the board so graciously gave me.

i see 74 on speedo with 24 labbed 4 blades at 5100. the boat but was trialed with 3 blades.. I may try them, and/or shorties some day as I am told by a local flormula expert ( lingenfelter powered , carbon layup 382) that shorties really make the 336 fly.

the boat for sale had the engines redone by innovation marine ( builds sealed spec blue motors for factory racing, very reputable, etc.) to 575 Hp
that boat does 80 I am told
and the price is now down to what I paid for mine....

As for mine,it came stock with 465 hp 502's,the boat ran 71mph with mirage+ propellers..I now am in the process of redoing the boat, i have a pair of 600sc's which will be the next set of power plants minus the b&m blowers..In its place i will be running a set of pro chargers which makes the motors 680 hp @ 5 lbs of boost..it will be interesting to see what speeds i get with a few more hundred hp..in the future the plan will be a set of imco shorties but for now ill stick with the beefed up bravos..
