383 is a 382 with a/c and Genny. the babe in the bilge! With low water pick-up.
10500 empty-dry, the fat chick with blower= 200, two meat balls= 400, 190 gallons of gas @ 6.2# each=1178, 75 #'s of gear and water for the suction box! = a 12500 lb chick magnet!!! Smarty |
Troutly,
I know how you feel. Mine ran 74.5 (3 people & full gas), 79 (1 person & 25 gallons) with Corsas stock. Without Corsas 82 (1 person & 25 gallons). If it's hot and humid subtract 1 or 2 from these numbers. All are GPS readings. Your motors are probably not as sensitive to restricted exhaust as the 525's. John |

- One more to add to the list - list to port that is - 2003 lite with 575's, XR's with Stellings and Sportmaster lowers, no gen or air etc. Told dealer at 20 hour checkup and two other times for service - no answer. Sure is annoying while running, no problem at rest. I thought it was just me until I read your post - have you had any explanations ? Also, I have tried the Labed 34's that were delivered on the Boat, 32's, 5 Blade Hydromotives, and 28's on GPS. 34s - results 50mph - 3500rpms 68.5mph - 4500rpms 78.5mph - 5100rpms WOT 5 Blade Hydromotives 49mph - 3500rpms 69.5mph - 4500rpms 77.6mph - 5200rpms WOT Trim indicators @ 8.5 with Roster |

Big Dog (I think I have some of your clothing line - ha)
No resolution yet on the port list. The factory is working with me to get to the root cause of the problem and fix it. Hope their findings with my (R&D boat) will help you and others also. I did expect this boat to be much more dialed in than it proved to be. Prop and planing issues were not what I expected considering my thought that this is probably Formula's most tested hull. (F2 boats) Hope we're ready to rock and roll for the start of boating season in Northern Michigan next summer. Wrink |
Hey Wrink,
Wish it were my clothing line ! I just happened to speak to the factory today! They mentioned your ( R&D for the Winter ), seems they want to get to the bottom of the problem. In my dealings with Formula, I can't speak more highly of their willingness to solve a problem. Low 80's, Blue Skies this weekend - Still a bit of rock and roll left here in Georgia. big dog |
Hey BIG DOG! Just curious if you were going to change your member status to allow for pm's? keep me posted!
Thanx, Wrink |
