I dont know if it is the same boat or not the ac was in and mounted and worked until the first of july. Even if it is the same boat with the upgrades that we did I still only have low 60's in the boat.

hmm oh well looks good, I'm 90% sure its the same, boat, it was definetly cheaper and on a new trl

We drove down on thursday with a 2500 HD Chevy truck and cash .Set up a sea trial with Ed Cozzi at the wheel. The boat ran great Ed did a survay, We knew that it needed some work the seller wanted 67,000 for it plus the trailer .Made him a one time offer showed him the cash and went and had a Beer so he could think about it. When we came back he countered. We told him that the boat needed to much work and we would help him put it back in the shop and we were going back to Va.. He took the offer and we were back in Va on sat. .I guess cash does talk or it did that time. I was not even looking for a boat had a 272 with new power, but I had the cash on hand and tried it. I dont know if we did the right thing loved the 272 .

Well it looks great now, I love that pic in the air u posted on SW and above, I will side with you, I know 38 is too much for me a 272 is probally perfect for me in all ways except fuel, we do alotta cove hopping start stop etc which now that ,y "kick" is over I think a 272 is overkill for me right now, also I want to do some traveling, I have a 00 Tahoe and if I go 272 I stay with my Tahoe so I'll be somewhat stuck at home and a cpl local lakes within 100 miles, But whatever I find first I'll get just looking for nice shape and nicer price:food-smiley-007:

Bill if you go on formulas site the have the readers comunity section and you can contact them direct. They have been great with me since I recently bought a 223 LS. If ya need help PM me. Personally I love my boat.

I emailed Formula last night wth my hull number and they replied that they don't have information back to 1983. Any idea where to go? The 1983 brochure does not list any 233 LS's with twins.

My first Formula 1993 271 sr-1 picked it up 2 weeks ago and pulled the motor on sunday. Boat sat for 2.5 years somewhat winterized. 515ci,250 B&M supercharger, dominator.

nice 271 I'd like to find one very similiar, does that one have bolsters?

[email protected] 09-16-2007 04:45 PM

Yes it has power bolsters and they both work :party-smiley-048: I broke the bank just to get the boat was a unplaned motor rebuild, motors apart just needs rings, gaskets and reworked by TRUE blower guy Mikes 280 from boatfreaks going to handle it:circle:
