That little plastic tube doesn't stand a chance in your combustion chamber. It won't be there for long. I wouldn't worry about it. Now, if it was metal or something... Well have you ever replaced a head gasket? It's not that difficult but definitely not fun.

Super! Thanks everyone. Seemes to me that the stroke would not be deep enough for it to go all the way in too. The tube was even longer than the regular WD-40 tubes.

I'll look throgh the bilge and engine crevices one more time and not worry about it again.

Heh Heh Heh.... I found it wedged between the starter and block. It took a headstand to geto to it but all is well and good.
