New Merc Maximus 5-blades

Drew,
I have not backed up those numbers yet, but I plan on running on the dyno within a few weeks and feel confident that I will hit the 600 mark. First of all it is all in the combination, the main part being the AFR heads second most important part is the cam that is matched for the flow of the heads. You need to get the tq and hp to come in where you use it, I don't want to turn more than 5400-5500 rpm so if the power doesn't come in until 6000 rpm it is not usable in my application. The experts out there say to have max tq at approx. 1200 rpm below your max rpm, so my max tq needs to be at 4200 rpm. Jeff
