Unhappy Need Help with 31 Fast Tech

A buddy of mine has a 1997 31 Fast tech he needs help locating black switches for the bolster he tried Trent Marine but the were no help at all he tried to call them they sent the wrong switches and will not return his calls any suggestions

Formula no longer has black switches but the fix is easy. Go to any marine store and find a black rocker switch,center off,momentary type. You should be able to find one that matches,it needs 6 terminals on the back. It is commonly used for power trim on bassboats.You will have to run 2 short jumper wires across the terminals(look at the back of your old switch to see where they go. Work great,and low cost. You can also call up Mcloed and ask them to send you some. They do not make black any more but they are cheap enough (13 bucks I think) and they will send you white ones with new white trim. (734-942-1166)

Try Carling Switch's web site. They don't sell direct, but you can probably find a part number, or maybe even a phone number. Of course there's always Formula's Technical Assistance Group - ask for Chuck Miller. They're WAY friendlier than Trenton and they know their a$$ from a hole in the ground.
