Debbie and I went hunting this evening, I had a chance to rack up another snake kill, but it was too dark for me to see what kind he was. I leaned down and flicked my Bic, but he didn't like that much. I have a feeling it was a small cottonmouth, but I let him slither away.

Joe .. you hear about guy over in Melrose that shot his son Saturday ...saw some movement in the bush ..his son had gone out to check the feeders and the Dad didn't know he was out there ....then the dad had a heart attack and died ..they found em together ..the dad had removed his shirt and placed it over his son ....then died beside him .....

That's horrible! As Russ said, rule number one is to identify your target. I was at a check station one time and people were asking if anyone saw anything. One idiot said he took a "sound" shot.

NEVER EVER EVER add up boat repair bills. It could be held against you in "divorce court". Plus it gives you this sick feeling in your stomach that luckily, just going out and looking at the boat usually relieves.

You got me beat, I shelled out almost 10K in six weeks in July/August 03', Deb is still pissed off about that.
