Formula Dash Panels
#131
I am lookiing to rework my 199 353 panel to allow for a Garmin 546 flush mount which requires an open spot of about 6 3/4 X 7. Luckily I only have 6 small gauges and 3 large ones. I just emailed Paneltronics who apparently does the factory panels for Formula. Any suggestions on other fabricators?

Looking at buying a 1997 382.. quick question.
I plan on using the stock panel and having it hydo dipped ion a carbon fiber pattern. and then new gauges. can you install new gauges int he factory holes? as the hole look to have the factory gauges BEHIND the panel....
also I want to do the flush mount GPS unit. so I may have to remake a panel as well.

I don't remember.......but if you have a ruler, measure the holes! The thing is as I remember, the panel for the VDO gauges has studs pressed into the panel to mount hte gauges so those would have to be cut off even if the gauge holes are the right size. Can't be that big of a deal. Just measure the holes.

WEll you said get a new pannel. and from what i have read a new one from Formula is rediculous $$$ and most have made aluminum ones. but there are not extras?
I would love to find a blank one, but no biggy on the factory holes if i can cut out the speedo and fit a GPS in there.
