Anyone know where I can get a new attwood lift strut for a 93 27 Fever. Mine won't hold up anymore

I got one from West Latrine, but check marine.com it might be a tad cheaper.

I've replace mine on both my 27 and 32. Bought both from WM.
Don't understand why, but if you look on the original strut, they will have a sticker denoting the # rating. Peel that sticker off and it has a different rating painted on from the strut maker. I 'think' the sticker is lower rating???? Anyways, I always bought the heaviest one available.

get the one with the biggest rating you can they last longer....

Are they an in stock item @ West Marine?? mine seems to be getting weak also on my 35. same part I believe.

Is the one you have the same as the original or is it a higher rating? Are you set on pay pal. Thanks Brian Leith

I just replaced mine through Fountain , not expensive at all and it's stainless .

On my dad's 35 we replaced the strut with a higher weight one. Worked great, actually had to use two hands to push it down.
