Question 32' Fountain & Props

Does anyone run Bravo 1 props on there 32' and what pitch are they (for sea level). I have Mach props now and want to go to Hydromotive's or Bravo 1's but not sure which pitch to use on either one.

Water Fountain,
Welcome to the board. I had 24 pitch Mach's on my 35. I switched to 24 pitch Hydro's. I also run a set of Bravo1's which were 26's with a quarter inch taken out of the blade. The 24 bravo with added cup was not enough. There are quite a few 32 Fever owners that check the board. It would help to know engine size and year.

Hey WF,
I have a 96 with 502's and run 27 hydros. In what I've seen, 26 or 27 hydros are not all that much different top end wise. 28's are too much to push. If you go bravos, I'm not positive here, but 28 might work best, but I think they are two different animals. I had the chance to try, but didn't.

Only drawback to the hydros is at top end WOT while squeezing out the exta mph, you trim up to gain speed, and it wants to chine walk on you then. So, you to trim in to keep the boat stable and lose speed. I didn't have GPS the day I ran the fastest, either. speedo was probably 81 (only have 80 mph speedo, and was past 80), and my speedo is dead on (or within 1 mph) with GPS in my other "testing".

Somebody tested that a while back, 6 months ago maybe? I've been happy with the 4 blade 27 hydros, though. Not labbed or anything, BTW. I get good speed, and can't recall what RPM's are exactly, 5100ish?, but it's just about right.

Welcome to the board

I had a 2000 32 Fever with Carb 500 H.P.'s The boat ran 84 MPH turning 27 pitch 4 blade Hydromotives at 5300 RPM. The only time it would chine walk was on very smooth water.
