The Cabin Ice Box has a short hose attached that runs into the Port side storage area which is carpeted. There is no drain in there that I am aware of. I have had the entire side panel off installing speakers. They could have added a few more feet of hose so it would have drained into the bilge. The thru hull fitting is only for the sink. Obviously from the different answers it's not a stupid question. :drink: Dan |
Re: Stupid Newbie Question.....
I have 2 thru hulls right in that area. Hard to tell from the picture, both are within 1 ft of each other. The larger for the sink, then a smaller one for a bilge pump that was in the cabin step. I removed that pump and wiring and plugged the thru hull. Wanted to use that fitting for the cooler drain, but the bottom of the cooler is lower than that fitting.

Dan You're right seems to be a pretty good question! LOL! |
Re: Stupid Newbie Question.....
Just had the cooler out of my '04 29 and it had a 5' drain hose direct to the bilge. The two forward thru hull fittings are for the cabin sink (large one) and the forward bilge pump located in the cabin step storage area. Good luck.
