I know this might sound stupid but I have to ask...........where does the water drain to out of the cabin cooler? I assume it goes down to the engine hatch but I'm probably wrong.......so I must ask the pro's.............thanks in advance!

I don't have a cooler in the cabin but my guess would be it drains thru a thru hull fitting. Easy way to find out would be to put some water in it and take a look. Just my .02

On my Fountain, it comes out the thru hull fitting just outside from where the cooler is.

It just drains into the bilge. Really.

It should drain thru a thru hull fitting, not into the bilge!!!!

Bilge.if not the sink would back up into it.

That's where it's at on my old 1993 35 and the new one.

My drains on the side of the hull where the cooler is. Not through the bilge.

My dads last 35 was the same way.

Sounds like all of the above. My '99 32' drained into the hull right at the gas tank. Problem was, there is no drain holes for that compartment. I ran a hose from the cooler, between the floor and stringers, then out 1 of the drain holes in the engine compartment forward bulkhead. I don't like ANY water to get in the bottom of the hull. Not convinced all water will drain out. Always seems to be 1 drain hole or so that doesn't get drilled in the very bottom of the compartment holding water back.
