Default clearance issue for exhaust

Can anyone tell me what aftermarket exhaust I can use to replace stock on a 99 32 fever with 502's. without modifying the engine hatch.

Also make sure you know what your motor centerlines are at. My 10-Meter's motors sit at 33" OC, and that limits my exhaust choices a LOT. I'm running IMCO Powerflows, and I think my only other choice would be Stainless Marine's for 33" centers.

Most of the nicer stuff, CMI, Stellings, etc needs 34 - 34 1/2" minimum. I also understand that Lightning can make custom sets for tight clearances.

Measure between the leading edges of your drives, and that will tell you where you're at.

Good luck,
Brian

briana,
I had Lightning make up a set for my 8.8. They work great but did require some notching of the hatch to get it clear. They'll make a lower set for you if you give him the measurements. Make sure you talk to Jan.

Brian.... You're pulleys are still sitting here. I haven't forgotten

CMI E tops or sport tubes will fit a 33" center with a stock head.

I put Keith Eickert exhaust on my 94,32 without having to do anything.

I am replacing mine now with an older set of Stainless Marines. Also a '99 32' 502's. I have the silent choice. For the most part, an easy swap. Got 1 manifold swapped before ran into a slight snag. I have to rework the oil filter, drive bottle mounting bracket though to clear the manifold to riser water hose. The other side is no issues. No problem with the hatch because the risers are same height as stock.

Stock cast iron manifold and risor..... 65# each
SM alum manifold and risor.... 20#
