Does anyone remember this 33' Fountain Executioner (mid or late '80s) race boat from Maryland?? Anyone have pictures of it to post or any info on the boat, drivetrain, top speed, etc.?? I believe it was even featured in a Fountain newsletter way back in the day.
I think the owner owned the "Speed Unlimited" chain of speed shops in the "DelMarVa" area. I saw it at a race near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge back in 1988-1990. The race boats came out of the park docks near the southbound side of the Route 40/301 bridge.
Is he still involved in boat racing and/or drag racing today??

Not sure but the Whoopie car was owned I thing by Craig
Heneghe(sp), he used to do alot of match racing, and was sponsered by the Oldies radio station 104 FM, and Roy, had a Camaro named the Jelly Bean. I am dating my self now. Used to go to MIR drag strip all the time. Roy did own or have something to do with " Speed Unresonable" Dont think I ever saw the Fountain that you are talking about though.

No longer a chain of shops...only 1 left. Just like a speed shop near me. The mail order shops like Jegs and Summit as well as the economy killed them off!!
I haven't contacted them or Fountain about the boat YET...has anyone else?
