you could pick up some gm crate motors for 4.000 each. considering the drives are ok, then you are still in good shape and away from a hole.

I would stay away from that one, do the math, project boats can get expensive quick not to mention frustrating. :(

ill tell you what i towed that thing from ny to chicago with an escalade, and ill tell you i will never never again do a drive like that with a short wheelbase truck. Penn was the worst because i got slammed by a snow storm. between the snow, mountains, and bridges i swear i cant belive i made it. white knuckle driving BIG TIME...and all within 48 hours :crazy:

downtown42 this is the one Ive been talking to you guys about..ill hopefully be riding with all of you guys this summer. the project is starting next week. all gages are getting replaced. all upper interior is getting redone. then there are the unknown problems------all being said end of march i should be good to go..i went through the same situ with my last boat and it worked out pretty good. this is just such a better platform to start with. the motors are weird ones a gen 4 the other is a gen 5, so i know they are newer.....we shall see....i will hopefully see you at the boat show on Sunday...i know you guys said you were going on sat. , but was hopping you would be there on sun too. i have a bunch of people coming with me.....hope to see you there....steve :cool:
