I know about rotted wood. My cover leaked around the arch and ran down the sides.
I tried the rubber backed marine carpet without snaps and at higher speed it would start lifting. I did later install snaps. Velcro in key spots would also work. |

Velcro in key spots would also work. you guys havent tried ordering interior parts from fountain though huh. thats want i really need to find out..i need to make a decision soon, because im looking at a month for mechanical after that the interior could be a month (cover, interior, carpet and suprises) two weeks for the detail shop, and a week at the sterio shop...when weather permits i want to be out there....you guys think your iching---i havent even had a chance to drive it yet and im going crazy! :drool: |

snap on carpet emailed me back and said $450-$500 for new carpet plus shipping back and forth of my old carpet for a stencile....my interior guy is sounding a little better now>

When you call these places ask for carpet weight. There is a big difference in quality.

quality is important to me, but i dont want the carpet so thick that you cant fold it and get it out easy. the stock carpet is perfect. if i can get it made like that i would be happy. i mean if it has thick rubber on the bottom how do you take it to the dry cleaner? beer, drinks and thing i shouldnt mention WILL get on this carpet :evilb:
