I recently saw a thread by epeek about depriciation, so I did a conversion on the old 1986 12 meter for sale in the classifieds...
What cost $59,900 in 1986 would cost $102,608.32 in 2005.

I wonder what it cost new in 1986?

I know the guy who used to own that boat it's immaculate. The boat has been kept inside heated storage for 25 years of its life. It is like brand new. It's a sweet boat w/ some nice modern upgrades to keep it up w/ the times.
