Re: Thoughts on a 2005 47 with trip 525s?
That boat is awesome. I didn't read every post, but do you worry about bravos when you are pushing that much weight?

I figure if I can save over $125,000 on it for 40 hours I am going to bite. He is willing to take my boat in on trade(less than I wanted for it but I will save $15,000 in taxes and his boat is priced right) He also will deliver the boat for free since he has to pick mine up. I have a Fountain 38 LX with trip 225 optimaxs now. I am wondering if the boat is too big? That is why he is selling it but he boats on lakes. I do my boating in Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. It weighs the sames as my boat and is a beam that is 1'5" less than mine but 9' longer. I was wondering if anyone on here owns one that could tell me what they like about and don't like about it. This is the boat. Thanks Mike

Do you have any pictures of it from the side? Mike
I wish it was mine, unfortunately I am just rope monkey/riding mechanic on that ride. I'll look for some pics, but since my buddy had the arch taken off I don't think many pics have been taken. It's got the flag graphics in blue with silver accents. I'll get all the numbers for you and let you know what happens with the new Herrings. Art Lilly does all the work on this boat and is working on the dial in-it will be spot on. Well, until he goes to 600's next year :D :D |
