Why do some Fountains with trips use the outside exhaust, and others line up all 6 tips in the transom?

thanks for that exhaust pics, as it helps us a lil wit our trip exhaust were tryin to fit in cig , we used to have the center engine pipes run between the rear engines riser and carb, but now are havin to urn the center like cool trips, but run the pipes out the side flush.

later models have tips, mine is a 91 so i am stuck with them on the side

tom if ya want all 6 to run out the back in line i can show ya pics of how the cig was set up, it had a thinner beam than ur fountain so id think you could run it like that as well. we even still have the custom long dry pipes from the cmi center exhaust
