What rpms are you turning with the Hydro 25P Quad IV and is it LH or RH rotation?
I have a 2000 29 Fever w/HP 500 carb with a different cam, CMI headers, etc. Had a blower on it last year, but took it off because of gas.... I currently am running a labbed Hydro 28P RH Quad IV @5000 rpms 75mph on gps. Throttle Up is welding in a fatboy hub (XR shaft) on my labbed Hydro 26P RH Quad IV and I will have it back in a couple of weeks and can post the results. I ran the 26 before the blower installation with the stock Bravo drive and turned the prop @5400-5450 rpms. I was seeing 81-82 on the liquid filled speedo, didnt have gps then. I am hoping that when I get that prop back that it will go 77-78 on gps.
I have tried all kinds of props and the Hydromotive definitely run the best on these boats. The labbed prop will be a little more lazy taking off than the stock prop, it will tend to blow out easier so you will have to work the throttles a little more when planing out but the gains on top are worth it.

I'm turning 5200. LH rotation between 70-72mph FOF. I'm in Freshwater. I would like to try a labbed 26 or even a 28 if the motor could turn it. I'm a little concerned about blow out.

Rod, how's my boat!
I sold the Concept I bought and now have another Fountain.
NeedtheSpeed, my 2000 Fountain with a carb HP500 ran with 2 people and at least 1/2 fuel 71-72 in perfect water. The best I every got was 75.2 with around 50 gallons and just me. In the fall or spring time it would run a solid 73-74 all the time. I was useing a stock Hydro 24 I believe. I tried Barvo 1's on the boat and they carried the bow higher but I had to run up to a 26 or 28 labbed to get the same speeds. The Bravo 1's did not work as well out of the hole or in rough water. The Hydro for my drive height was a better all around prop. After Fountain raised the drive height on 2001 29's the Bravo 1's worked better and they shipped 26 Bravo 1's with HP500efi's packages.
Throttle Up is an excellent choice for prop work too.

Mike,
Its doing great. I took the blower off over the winter. I spent most of last summer trying to dial it in... Very frustrating trying to get the fuel curve right. I kept fouling plugs. The best I got out of it with the blower was 85 on a stock 29 quad IV. With a labbed prop I think it may have picked up a couple more mph.
I plan on rebuilding my motor or buying a new motor over the winter. I have about 220 hrs on the hp500 bottom end. I am going to go with something like a 555 or bigger to get the cubic inches=torque. My goal is to get it to run in the mid/upper 80's.
I have done a lot with the stereo and will take some pics and post them up this weekend.
What kind of fountain did you get?

Rod, I bought a 2006 38TE (center console) with triple Mercury Verado 275's. It cruises at 50 and WOT is around 73mph. It holds 425 gallons of fuel, 40 gallons of water and has a ton of storage. It is also 10'6" beam! I put in 2 Raymarine E-120 12" screens for my radar, chartplotter and fish finder. the Verado's are so quiet you can not even hear all 3 of them at idle speed!

Need if you are at 5200 and not on the limiter you are right there. If you want to run faster strip the cabin and make it a poker run edition. That has to be good for 2 to 3 mph.
