Default Prop Rotation on a 35

We are fixing up a 1993 35 Fountain. And forgot which way the props were rotating. Either both turning in or out? Does any one know the proper way the should be setup. I know a 96 35 with a step turns in. Thanks

Hi Bobby,
I have a 2000 Lightning and the starboard drive turns left and the port drive turns right, so I guess you would say the both turn in. I think that is the fastest combination, if you have them going the other direction the boat is more manuverable for docking but not as fast.

I turn my 35 in, 99 single step, both with the Hydros and the Bravos. I would think even the non stepped hull would benefit from this. Some of the earlier designs came with the Mirage style props and I think they were turning out.

Turn them in, like said it will be a lil more tricky around the docks but will give ya more speed on the run..

I have mine turned in. Sucks around the dock, but a little more on top.

I do more docking than a running WOT, so changed mine to turning out.
Figured if they were turning in, I'd just hit the docks faster.

Mine are turning out from the factory. I like the being able to get the boat in a slip. Worth a mph or two when you are already as slow as I am.

1993...............non-step, they all were turned out from the factory.
