That pic of the 40 went with the post before I made by that was the Fountain we uesed to own. The rolly eyes were there to show that we did own a Fountain and do like them. I have nothing against Fountains. All I did was after someone mentioned a Cig I posted fact about the speed, boat, and such. As a matter of fact the person who started this thread has asked me about Cigs too. You Fountain guys just dont let things go do you. This whole thing was over so why do you guys keep on starting things up again??

Thumbs down

Guys this is not the Apache Forum( no offense to the tribe). This thread has gotten out of hand. A guy on here is struggling with the 32-35 Fountain purchase and just asked for some simple advice. If I was him I would be sour on the imput that I was getting from this thread. Regardless of who is at fault for derailing this thread it needs to be back on track. If this is going to be a Cig vs Fountain thing aaaaagaaain? a new thread should be made or should be posted in the General discussion. My .02

Dan- I appreciate the time you took to PM me. It was a well thought out response to some questions and concerns that I had. You touched on just about every issue I could think of. A lot of times opinions on open forums can hang you which is most likely the case here. I just want you to know that no offense was taken on my part. I have no problem vouching for your credibility after reading your PM and every statement that was made is on par with what I was thinking.. Thanks

I'm not sour on how this thread turned into. I had my answer by the 20th post of what to do and from there is just took off.

I get a kick on how so many people get wrapped up "seriously" in this "my boat is better than your boat or that brand is better than this brand" crap...they all have there pluses and minus's. We are here to enjoy what we like to do and that is be on the water and just enjoying the life style that we have. I do appreciate all of the input that everyone has made and the insight was requested and needed by me so that I would not make a regretful decision of moving up incorrectly. Once again thanxs too all who chimmed in.

PS
and Fountain's are the best boat ever built

This lit the candle again. I have not taken any of his comments negative. Anything that floats and goes fast works for me. The kid is welcome here anytime.

And I had my little 33 BAJA out in the wind and 2-2.5' chop yesterday at Lake Conroe and we GPS'd 75 with my 5 mo. old baby on board for her first boat ride! Pretty smooth ride. Yes she had a Type 1 PFD on.
