Nice, I like the red. Looks clean with the small stripes. And yes, CAPTCHUCKV I did the painting myself, along with the help of one of my friends. Well, ok, he can really take most of the credit, as I'm definitely not a painter by trade. My buddy's family owns a pretty big marine repair/sales business in this area, and he provided all the know how, and a damn good percentage of the labor!
It's good to have friends!!
I think this particular project turned out to be a little more in depth than we both anticipated (with the addition of the lines) but in the end we were both very happy with the way it turned out. I learned a lot, and know that in the future I can tackle the same type project. I recommend doing it yourself whenever possible!! It's a lot of fun!

I kind of wonder what it looked like with the graphics. I assume they were vinyl on my boat since they're not there anymore.
I also like the simple graphics, or none at all. 1-2 colors max. The fancy paint schemes look awesome when new, but they really date the boat. My fountain is white and blue, and I've had people complement me on it and ask me "how old is that, 2-3 years?" when it's really more than 15 years old.
