Paint's finished. Honest opinions.
Well, work has finally finished on the paint project of my 27 Fever. She's a '96, and originally from the factory I believe she was gold and dark green. Then, the owner before me had it painted purple, red, and neon green. Well, that wasn't exactly my style, so when I got her, paint was one of the first orders of business. Early on I decided that I was going to keep it simple, and sleek- so black, white, and chrome/stainless would be the only colors on the entire boat. When I decided to go with just one color on the paint (black) there were some changes that had to be made to the layout/design of the paint to make it less 3-dimensional. This is what we decided to go with. Those of you familiar with paint schemes of the era can probably tell what the layout was before we got ahold of her, and can probably see where we added lines. Tell me what you think, and be honest! I know I haven't posted too many times, but I do a lot of reading on here and I trust your opinions!! Here she is..
By the way, she's my first Fountain, and I'm loving everything about her so far!

Hmm, 47 views and 2 responses. Hey, I know it's not a custom 42 Lightning or MTI, or anything crazy, but does anybody have appreciation for the small boats these days?

I would add a little accent color and something on the deck, looks good as is though!

I like the simple colors. That is one of the things that sold me on my boat. Simple colors don't date the boat at all. Here are my simple graphics.
