Default In The Water.............

Well, the boat is 90% done and it looks like we are going to have a good weekend for weather (low 60's) so I am going to splash it and she how she works. Going to do some prop testing too...............trying a set of Bravo 1 labbed 33 four blades, hopefully we can spin them. 29 four blad Hydros were on the boat and it was turning 5700 plus RPM apparently.

I will let you know how it goes.
Have a good weekend all...................

Well the day turned out to be great, tried the labbed Bravo 1 33's and they worked very well, next is a set of five blade 29 hydro's....sorry but I forgot the camera for some pics, didn't run the boat to hard, about 80gallons of fuel, six people at 4950rpm, broke 80mph, mid-range was awesome.............opened the hatch to take a look at everything and found the strbd engine had oil spray coming from the dip stick and also from the blow bye hose at the flame arrester...........not sure what that means but obviously creating to much crank pressure......help is appreciated........

That is what Double R is checking out...........they are wondering if the dipstick is off.........they are going to do a leakdown too..........I wasn't burning oil through the exhaust and didn't have a loss in power so I don't think I burnt a piston ring................
