Default Seat back upholstery

My upholstory on the unpadded section of the seat
back is tearing thru where it wraps around. Almost
as if they pulled it too tight when they wrapped the
seats. If you feel the edge thru the vinyl it feels pretty
sharp. Petty sad for a boat 1 1/2 seasons old with
40 hrs on it. Anyway...any ideas on what to do with
it? I dont feel like pulling the seats out at the start of
the season for reupholstery. I was thinking of some sort
of trim peice for now. Anyone know where I can get
some powdercoated or anodized thin 90 degree trim ?
or some sort of vynal repair that doesnt look ridiculaus?
Thanks, Rick

I hear ya! I have removed the covering on several peices that had shape corners underneath just waiting to rub through and sanded the sharp wood corners round. I should not have had to do this! The more I work on my boat, the more disgusted I get at the lack of quality workmanship.
