Default Best Prop for 35 Executioneer

I had been running Hydromotives prior to going to -2 Imco shorties. I am now breaking in the new lowers with some Bravos. I am seriously thinking of labbing some Bravos. for my final set up. Is there any other prop worth trying for top end? Herrings - worth the $? I am thinking that I should stay with a 4 blade for top end and the easiest on the drives? Thanks.

I ran 32 pitch labbed Maximus on my 05 Ex. It had 1.65 gears in the lowers. They were great getting on plane and ran 61-62 at 4000. The fuel economy was much better than with the 4 blades because of the better cruise speed.

I'm only running a stock Bravo One uppers. I'm afraid of the five blades and the load they create. My gears are 1.5:1. Is the Herring or a cnc prop worth the extra money, or is a labbed Bravo One going to be the best. I need to be able to get on plane with my -2 shorties, but am looking for top speed. Really don't do that much cruising.

bets hole shot from the maximus and rough water/ allaround handling. and if you lad em they ll still give you the top end. and i wouldnt sweat the load factor ass your not making big power.

merc 4 bld and hydro p5 are about the same top end, p5 having more in the middle.

p5, the p5 x's seem to work better on the singles.

i also have a set on a 38 that runs just under 110. i do like these wheels. the bite hartd, turn well, accelerate without losing top end. and are not so easy to ding up compared to some others.

I recommend labbed Maximus. Have had great success with them. Don't forget to cut the difuser ring down at least .5 inch. Make sure prop has cup also.

How much do you think I would be giving up on top with the Maximus versus the Bravo? I have been speaking with Bblades. I am running 700hp per side.

99' 38 fever, 750 h.p, 1:50, 2" shorty, 15 1/4x30 max=100

" same stuff "4 bld merc 14 1/4x32= 104

rpm diff of 200, samr water conditons and air temps.
testing was done back to back to back along with hydro's 6 blds( they didnt work at all). what you sacrifice on top you will pick up in the midrange. before the lad expect 7-11 mph increase on cruise and 3 off up top. serious planing times . hammer down maybe 5 seconds vs. 20+.

HYDRO 5 BLD'S loose out the hole next to the max but faster.
