Just a note on the Aquastep, go with the stainless and not the white powdercoat, the white seems to attract any dirt or exhaust soot, real pita to scrub every time

How does this ladder fasten while underway or does it stay up by spring tension? It seems it might slam under the swim step if you're hitting waves hard.

The late model 35EX has no ladder or anchor locker.
