4-8's, big deal...Thats every day up here....we run like that all weekend long.

Thats a big difference between a 4ft wave to an 8ft one!
|
lol... when we offshore fish in the rough stuff they had reports of 7-12.. But the commentator said that " i believe its anywhere from 4-8.. still 4 footers can suck

http://youtube.com/watch?v=r7mSxOAg-UU First segment looks like bigger conditions, and the throttleman is taking a more conservative trim approach; drives tucked in some, and probably some tab as you can see the bow digging in more. Yet they broke the boat, and with that water, I'm guessing a drive. Second segment, a little flatter and the throttleman has it hung out, positive trim, probably no tab at all. Then they do the classic "launch off of wave #1, trip on wave #2, and stuff into wave #3." It's interesting that with conservative trim and in bigger water, they're still making 90mph. That's what happens when you combine Kramer, Saccenti, and a 41 Apache. That video is a lesson on how to Git 'er Done. Thanks for sharing. Brian |
Second vid, if they hit the trim switches, it would kill the ignitions, so they could'nt touch the trim, just set it and go. Anyway, that's what Tommy Evans told me, he was in the boat throughout their reign.
