A boat that is safe on the race course will be safe for recreational use.

If that's your point ... not always. As we all know, a lot of race boats are set up for speed ... big gears, aggressive drive heights, delicate center of gravity, all stuff that can make them a handful to drive for anyone other than an experienced racer.

T2X has driven his share of race boats. My guess is that he'd agree, at least to some extent.

I admit I´m old school still despite the fact that I won an offshore race last weekend in a Fountain.
It´s not the win it´s how you win IMO.
I´ve worked on the boat too already fixing it and it´s about a month old, me myself I reckon Fountains are massproduced boats and they look like it in their finish and detailing inside being equal to Wellcraft Scarabs.

Cigarettes do have a nicer finish not outside but inside where it counts for me.
Plus...Cig is a NAME.

Reggie can boast all he wants sometimes it works sometimes not as there´s people round the world who knows the true king of offshore isn´t with us anymore.
