Default Prop help

The boat is a 35 single step 750-800hp. 1.36 gears -2 lowers with 30 labbed maximus props. I keep reading about removing the diffuser ring. How much of the ring should I remove?

Monstaa
Why do you say that is too much? That is exactly how much a guy with the exact same set-up as me removed and gained 5mph. Same hull same horsepower, same drives, same props.

it indeed will make the prop faster, however you will sacrifice other characteristics of the prop which are more valueable. for one stability at high speed. by triming less, in other than pancake flat water the boat should be just as fast, or a tick slower due to its ability to remain stable while at the same time reducing drag and not diverting thrust.

This can be very true Monstaaa. Much easier to take one off then to put one back on! Be conservative with removal.
