Not judging anyone, but it is a lot smoother to launch off of one roller versus going over 3 or 4 of them!!!

Anyway we had been out playing with our friends with a cruiser. If you can't say stuff nice shut your pie hole.

Apparently you are the driver.... I will agree with Cat man do, you want air pictures , join a powerboat club and let them do it from the helicopter, not close to a crusier with a bunch of peole with amatuer cameras that don't work. I certainly would not call you a Jack off, cause I don't know you, I would say maybe... a lapse of good judgement!

Maybe it was too close. But remember camera zooms really throw off angles and sometimes makes the boat look a lot closer than it really was.

Every time I post one of my vidoes on here someone starts crying that I was too close.

A guy here on the Lake has crashed twice doing that.

Once facked himself up serious...

Twice did $50,000 in damage to the Hustler he crashed in while getting himself and gf thrown in the water with the Fountain doing smaller and smaller donuts in the water by itself till it airated the props out and someone was able to jump on and stop the boat.

SO FOR YOU FAKING RETARDS OUT THERE DON"T JUMP WAKES.

If your still tempted, go play Russian roulette with a 870 Remington pump before....

When is the next thread biatching about insurance going up now???

I'm going to agree- there are far too many things that can go wrong when operating a performance boat at high speed.
Why anyone would tempt a disaster to happen just for a photo shoot is way beyond me.
I'm not a big fan of helicopters (I prefer my wings bolted on firmly, thank you) but they serve their purpose well when it comes to getting great shots of these boats- in big water where they belong, not searching out a wake to jump. Last time I checked, the site was still called 'Offshore Only'.

Seize/blow that port drive upon re-entry into the water, and you won't even be able to count how fast the accident will happen.

There are plenty of public internet videos of those of us in our 'sport/hobby' doing things that add to negative publicity.
This is one of them.
