I Raced Cat Killer 6 Times In The Past 2 Yrs. & Mike And Dave Run The Boat So Hard It Never Finishes, So I Thought It Would Be Best To Run Otc , And Traffic Light In Key West Never Thought It Was Gonna Be Calm For 3 Races ... I Will Never Hear The End Of It.
Anyway We Have Been Running The 41 Apache Island Runner With Herb Stotler And Frank Kerbeck Since 1987 In At Least 20 Or More Races, & Last Year Used It Almost Every Weekend At The Jersey Shore. (margate , & Atlantic City ) Lov That Apache In Big Water .... C U Soon Johnny

Island Runner has always been one of my favorites!!!
A few years ago at the AC race it was like the old days. There was Island Runner, Fire Water and I think 2 other 41's battling it out! It was sick!!!
The technology has come a long way!!
Have a good one!!

IN SARASOTA THIS YEAR HE GOT A GREAT START SO I NEVER GOT TO RUN WITH HIM BECAUSE HE BROKE AFTER THE FIRST LAP I , I WAS RUNNING 138 -140 AND HE WAS FASTER THAN THAT. IN 2 TO 3s MY AVG. LAP SPEED WAS 101 AND I THINK HE WAS AROUND 103, I WOULD SAY HE CAN RUN HIGH 15Os low 160 s. THAT WAS AT THE BEGINING OF A 98 MI RACE SO WE HAVE AT LEAST 225 GALS OF FUEL ON
