Horsepower is horsepower (be it auto or marine applications) Something is drastically wrong if a close to 600 cubic inch BUILT ENGINE supercharged( by a highly efficient intercooled WHIPPLE Blower ) can not mahe 1000 horsepower on pump gas.Hell the last supercharged Viper made he did with a much smaller (488 cu )blower and intercooler madr 850.

Panther what do you think you would have made using CNC ported Dart heads ,T&D OR jesel valvetrain with newest Whipple blower-intercooler set up.(The Whipple alone is probably good for 150 horsepower without the alum high flow heads.

People were making 1200 hp with the quad rotor whipples and good heads... The new Whipples are super expensive from what I hear and the dealers aren't getting much of a break on price.

With good heads, intercooler and a bigger blower(10, 12,14-71)I think I would have made around 950 hp....any more than that I would need a bigger cam than what I have.
