I from Norway, and Jassman I se you have a good taste in style, quality and performance. The guys who made your boat are Norwegians. It so cool that they have made souch a sucsess "over there". In Norway it lives 4 million people all together. Not so many of us, of course a lot of Norwegians went to US 100 - 200 years ago. NORTECH keep up the good work and make us in the old country proud :ernaehrung004: BTW...congrats on the boat. |

Hi again
There are a few prefromance boats in Norway like: Nortech, Fountain,Donzi,Baja,Scarab and Formula. Not to many. There are several reasons why preformance boats are not in a big number I will mention two of them: 1. Gaz price 1 Gal = 10 Dolars 2. Envirement duty = 25 usd (ex 25%vat) each HP ex: My engine 454 330 HP = 25 x 330 = 8250 + 25% = 10312 usd in duty. See my point ??? But there are some boats and we have fantastics fjords and oceans like the North Sea. Could on a stormy day be a challange even for Fountains *S*. This is some links to a couple of nice Norwegian powerboats: http://www.hydrolift.com/ http://www.goldfishboat.com/ And we are proud of this team: http://www.spiritofnorway.com/news.asp and this: http://www.uglandoffshoreracing.com/ To races are in Norway every year one in Oslo and one in Arendal. Check this out some nice videos at the race sites. Now it 14 degres or -10 Celsius outside, I have to get through a long vinter before i can go boating agian:p |
Monaco 20, that's a real good looking Formula you just bought. Back in the 80's a good friend of mine bought an identical boat to yours. It was ALOT of fun in the rough water and it handled it like a snow plow through a pile of snow.
Congrats with it and be safe. Frank |

I read an article about the Spirit of Norway boat and its Lambo V-12 engines. Interesting how they limit horsepower in certain race classes by restricting the size of the air intake nozzles. See those curved intake tubes facing forward? I think they are limited to 66 mm diameter!! |
Hi Beak did you see the pics of hydrolift C 31 and the C 27

Beak I started this treat as you know, if you se all the topics
that has become of it. Ithink it has lost the topic a long time a go. *S* So as the guy who stared this I do not mind if we are on side of the topic:D |
Just wanted to add that every fountain that I have been in which has been 5 from 27 to a new 07 38 w/700's has been able to reproduce the number from the test report which was done at the factory. I would never have thought that a 38 w/700's would run 114.7, but it did. Think I would still take a Skater V over a fountain though. All boats mentioned are awesome boats, even the AT's.....just messing with you Brian!!
