Wow, this thread seems to have been around the world and touched every subject.

Real world Fountain 35's that I've gotten trusted GPS info from friends all seem to be 92.5-94mph. None of these were 2007 models but fairly new. That's actually close to AT and Donzi numbers. The Formulas usually are a few mph slower, but you get more creature comforts.

On the subject of magazine boat tests, all makes put their best foot forward, but personally I believe Reggie tweaks his a bit more than the competitors before he turns it over for testing. Legal, yes, fair, no. Just like some sportbike manufacturer's do for the mags.

And not owning any of the above mentioned boats, this isn't meant to slam anyone.....aw hell.....would you trust a guy with with a bunch of gold chains telling you this test boat is just a normal one of the production line

There, I slammed a beak boat

You beak guys are sure avid about your brand, but in a good way

Too bad not an AT. Would have given the driver some private time with his good buddy next to him as they were underwater and no one was looking

it has been my experience that fountain is allways tweaking and improving. their are other manufacturers that do this however their boats are far more money and with less time spent. and with much more cookie cutter results .this is what advances the industry as a whole. its unfortunate that controversy outweigh result.
say what you want but only tests and results are proof. and when repeated on a consecutive basis it truly is unargueable.

I had my doubts if "unarguable" was a word.

As it turns out, it is a word.

As I sit here chasing the last beer with yet another, and expecting some freezing rain I wonder how one would "argue" facts? Do tell....
