Season is getting so close, I am going to try to REALLY lock down my next boat before I sell our current one.

I was going to just put it on EBay (seeing how well that shabby Villain did that Shogren sold on EBay).

Wife is scared to be "Boatless" I'd rather have the dough to put down on the next one.............

Blower motors are PULLED from my best prospect, stock power 502's being installed by Friday (supposedly).

A little backwards of what I'm used to reading here, but I'm not really trying to break any speed records at 12K lbs and $4.00 a gallon either.

PJ,

The guy in NJ is pulling the blowers? Or the complete motors? Fill me in. Thanks.

I'm afraid to "fill" too far.......

Yes, the MOTORS are sitting on a shop floor. Somewhat disappointing in a way, in another way somewhat a relief.

His first suggestion was to plop in two "built" 502's he had in an older 10 meter (sold less power). The were dyno'd at 520HP.

He moved on quickly to swapping them out to a set of refreshed (stock power) carbed 502's. Honestly, with fuel getting the way it is, and the fact that we just like to cruise, drop hook or raft up and bullsh*t, I don't have a need or want for the extra horses at this point. I'm guessing it will drop down to about 60 TOP speed with stockers, not totally sure on that though.

I am supposed to go up again this Saturday to check out the work, I think I am meeting the Surveyor on Monday or Tuesday as long as everything with the motors and rigging checks out. The boat is at the mechanics place now, they are supposed to have it running and also take it out over the weekend to try to re-prop it for the power decrease.

I'm semi-excited. My wife and son are gitty about it, they want it bad.
Pretty extensive cleaning required, the back seat is jakked, totally made wrong, will have to be re-done completely.

We'll see, hopefully it is not wet like the other one, but visually from the inside it appears good.

Just got home a few minutes ago. Outlook is GOOD. It still has some issues similar to the 95 in Ohio, nothing even close to that scale of damage though.

Ran like a CHAMP. Slower than hell, but we can work on that later. Everything on board worked except for some small nick nacky type stuff.

Moving forward.

Another 95 (looks NICE).

I don't know about 85 MPH, but I bet it does roll pretty good.

Doesn't that look like it is sitting at Shogren? That shot looks real familiar from many of their ads. Just an observation.

Nice example of a clean 95. It has the bigger genset, nice power too.

Looks like it shot up about $20K today.
