Default Dyno Results

509 MPI, Dart 308 Iron heads, Procharger M-1, Crane 731

597.7 hp @ 5300
635 ft lbs @ 4200 w/ 5lbs boost at the prop

Many thanks to Bob Lloyd at Full Throttle Marine for the dyno and tuning. My little 24 footer ought to run pretty good!

I would have thought it would put out more HP than that.
I have 509's with Jim V PRO 1's ( too much else to list ) Crane 741 cams and I am at 650 HP

I think you said it........ better heads, bigger cam. I'd expect about 50hp difference.

The Dart 308s are damn near stock being a little better on the exhaust side. Motor is only 8.3:1 with flattops.
I went for reliability over hp numbers.

Not to kick ya in the bag but i made 700hp with those same heads on a 540 at 6000rpm, na with a dominator....That motor needs a better cam selection and some head work......You should make 700 easy with a procharger....
