Friend of mine took delivery of it last week. 525s and 6s (the motors are coming out very shortly). Has a custom made backseat that Fountain said came out so good there putting it in all the 42 Prs. Getting a set of Saris Racing 850s. Ill ask him for pics.

With the 850s were expecting 115+. The 525s are going in his old Scarab with 0 hours on them. He already has a buyer for the scarab. Sorry about no pics of the back seat. This is all I have for now.

I would think you would get more than that. A stock 42 lightning w/ cabin will do 120 with merc 850's according to reggie.

I agree, I was thinkin 125-130mph. Post some more pics when you can and let us know what she runs!

Motors are in the boat. Should be testing next weekend. A bunch of small things holding him back.

42' Fountain Poker Run
 

Fountain just built a 42' Poker Run with Mercury Racing 1075's and #6 drives and it ran like 146mph......

They allow us to test boats. But I know what ya mean... hopefully they can stay busy with the jet skis.:rolleyes:

They ran her today. 101mph with 3 inch of throttle left hard up against the rev limiter. I was in school but dad said it handled great. Johnj is going to try a set of 36s. We should be able to spin them 5800 which should put us somehwere around 115.Ill post the pics tonight. The R-Techs have custom made covers that say "$till Need$ no name":cool:
