I saw the boat last 2 weeks ago, they were just finishing the wrap. Looked AWSOME, we had some discussion of making the wraps as options on future boats. They are making those wraps in house at Fountain now.

I agree. This marketing schpeal is getting old. There isnt really anything "cat killer" about it. Yes, it will run with similarly sized and powered cats.....but they still have the edge by a few mph.

On the other hand you cannot compare a 210mph 6k hp turbine cat to a 180mph 3k hp piston vee.

Yes, all the fast boats ran "about" the same speed.

Does anyone know the TRUE speed of the Fountain "cat killer"? I have been told some rumors. people say its not a true cat killer or the cats beat it by a few mph's. Until its run all out in a kilo I trust there will always be discutions like this. I think old reggie has seen 200+ out of this rig. He is smart enough not to reveal the true numbers. Wait until someone chanenges him seriouosly. I think it will be mind blowing to all. my 2cents
