Hey Bomann-
Did the hypertech do anything for the gas mileage? Truck has plenty of torq, just wondering if you gained anything in mpg. I heard some say yes some say no, just wondering your results. |

Got the new tow vehicle

Wow this is an old thread. I didn't like the way that the suburban towed so I purchased something a little more appropriate for the job; however, I sold it because somebody made me a killer offer on it so I don't have a tow vehicle at all right now but will purchase one in March/April.

No pics, but I have a '06 F250 with arp head studs and egr delete. I towed my 27' fountain home from Alabama and got 14 mpg running 70mph. Truck tows the boat great.

posted a while back when I had the 42 pulled by an F-250......now have 2009 35 Lightning and tow with a 2010 F-150 with factory max tow kit......works great.

Nice motor home Chad, is it a diesel? That will be really cool at Irvine Lake.
Nice truck James, What is next? I now have a Hallett 270T that I tow with a Ford 7.3 Diesel Excursion. It does a good job. I just bought the Hallett about a month ago. I am at home recovering from two back surgeries in the last 10 days. Things are getting better now. Hope to be on the water by February. I think that there will be another Fountain in my future, but it may be a couple of years, my wife really likes the Hallett, it is very user friendly. Dave |
