Do you have 4x4? I have a simular truck 5.4 liter with the upgrade tow package (Heavy trans and gears). Can you get it up the ramp ok with 2wd? Everyone is telling me I will need a bigger truck towing a 32 or 35.

Towed my 32 with my '00 250SD with 5.4 no problems. Had to keep OD off. Seemed to have a dead spot around 60 (really struggled to maintain speed), but get to 65 and it would run like a raped ape. Almost like at 65 it was in it's premium torque range at the higher rpm. I now have a 250SD with the V10. I leave it in OD and have no problems at any speed.
