Help with bilge pump

I have a 95 35 and it has 2 Lovett 1200 gph belt driven bilge pumps. The starboard one was stuck so I took it apart and got it freed up. Are both bilge pumps supposed to have a constant 12V to them so they work in the auto mode, or just one I have been probing the wires and the 3 wires going to the starboard pump only gets hot with the switch. If anyone knows the color codes of the bilge pump wires please let me know it looks like the tan wire gets hot with the switch.. (Do you think I should replace that pump it seems to be working ok now) thanks guys this will help keep the time I have to stand on my head down there to a minimum

replace the pump?? I don't know what shape its in after you fixed it.. but bilge pumps are one of those types of things you really want to be able to have faith in...
motor or drive dies..limp in on one or get a tow
bilge pump dies.. you now own a submarine.
