WOW !!
And that was on a tandem axle painted Myco, if I remember right ... I wish I would have inquired about that one
but I figured they wouldn't budge on the price, so I didn't. Congratulations on one heck of a deal!

Salesdeity, the 2004 you have a link to, above, is still listed on www.boats.com at $79,900. Just saw it there today.

Nice shot. Boat looks good too......respectfully kidding.
Tear away graphics are sweet. I had to settle for the Patriot ones. Not my first choice but ok.
Not sure about your steering question from earlier but will check after I take delivery tomorrow. Post a shot of what you did in the cabin with the top if you get a chance.
Bob, thanks for the heads up. I did see the other listing and my price is less.
Thanks.

will do . I was pleasantly suprised to find I had hyd to the helm . So far I really like the boat . Congrats to you on getting yours . The cooler thing I thought was a p.o.s. so I took it to a cabinet shop & had a new top put on it & had the whole thing relaminated . The area under the cooler is now the electronics area . I also moved the water pump back to the tank . Kind of a stupid place where it was & would not pump water worth a sh*t . I also moved the faucet to the back of the counter so no you can actually use it . Do you know yet what prop is on yours ? Im running a stock 28 & seems great but ???

Thanks for the well wishes. Prop is a banged up 26 B1. Boat only got to 73 with that one. They put a new 26 B1 on it, at my expense if I keep it, and went to 77 in flat water. I think you said you were getting 81 out of yours with a 28 B1 so sounds like you're dialed in rather well. Not sure if you can get any more top speed than that.
They pulled 4 codes - 94, 75, 118 and 191. Anyone know what codes they are?
Thanks.

From about 1995 and up, all of the Fountain sport boats had full hydraulic steering to the helm. Early one's were Latham brand and Parker Paraflex hoses and fittings, then in ~ 2000 Reggie made his own for about 3 years steering rams, and now they are back to Latham brand again. I think they used the same helm unit on all of the (Eaton brand?). Same for the trim tabs - there was about 3 or so years (starting in ~ 2000) where Reggie made his own hydraulic cylinders and trim tabs instead of using K-Planes. Not sure you can still get parts for the Reggie brand tabs or steering rams. Fountain made their own mufflers and semi-diverter systems for awhile, too. I think the '04 at Ducky's had the Fountain muffler system, if I remember right. There is no diverter switch, all works off of back pressure, for that system.
