Does any one have a 27 with a 525 in it. If so what speeds does it run and what prop are you running.

My old boat was a 2001 27 w/500efi GPS 74, but had to have it maxed out 5350rpms 25 Hydro RH , sometimes used a 26 Hydro RH but it took longer to plane.

I don't think many 27's were built with a 525efi, I know their are some with 525sc floating around, they got around 78mph

Usually 27's dont like hydro props. Try a bravo 26 or a cut down 28.

Hydro props are harder to plane with. My old 27 was a mule to get on plane with a hydro prop.

I ran a 27 Hydro.. It was ok till the big air buble around it wouln't go away unless I stopped. And I couldn't turn too sharp or It would cavatate. We run a 28 B1 .. you should try a 26 B1..

You are right but the Hydro's are a little faster

I have a 27 with 454 385HP w/ vortech SC 3.5# boost runs mid 70s with stretched 26P bravo. For sale by the way.
