The best I have seen is 104 mph @ 4900 elevation. Still trying out props from hering. Came with 37.5x17 6 blades. Bought a set of 35x17 6 blades, but think I need to go down to 33x17 6 blades. Need more rpm's.

104mph is solid at elevation. I think the 33's will be way too small. There are four 42's with 700's on our lake. Three are running 37x17's. Mine is the odd-ball running 37.5x16.75, which are the same prop's they run on the 850sci boats. You should consider keeping the 37.5's and getting the Whipple ECU / pulley upgrade. It should pull those props another 800 rpm's and the boat will jump on plane.

I already have the whipple kit did that before I bought props. I am only turning about 5300 rpm that is why I wanted to know how much trim to give the boat. I can trim up the boat to get more rpm's but doesn't get any faster, so that is why I think I will try proping down. By the way I put the air tubes on my drives, now it jumps right up on plane. Do you have the drive tubes?

No air tubes here. If you are turning 5300rpm's mid summer, you will probably hit the limiters in the spring and fall. I have not maxed mine out lately, but would expect a 5-8 mph loss mid summer.
