P.S. Nice side view of your boat

I did talk to Scott last spring about the blue 38 with 600's that he had then, and has back now, that might be a possibility. I'm getting older and need to set aside some cash for Geritol and chit like that. I should probably just say F' it and spend it before I kick the bucket.

Like that side view do ya', almost makes it look like a 38! For some reason that pic makes the boat look loooong, just needs that loooow windshield.:drink:

Here's a question for you ............. why has all the "New Fountain" inventory on the Shogren site just flipped over into the "Bank Repo" section as "Incoming" ???

Scott I think this is a question for you

If you get a 38 2007 and up make sure you get the 700 nxt you wont regert that

I have friends that own 2007 38 that would have paid the littler extra for the 700 nxt now that they have owned the 600 package you are always trying to up grade to the 700 nxt is what they said to me

as a good frind said to me are you going to wait till your 50

Great question, our site is being updated and a couple of the boats are owned by us and a couple were given to us by bank to sell. We also have 2 2008 NEW 35 Lightnings coming in tomorrow that will be available for 100K below cost.

Regards,

I don't think I have any pull for ya. Seems like anyone with the resources available can go out and make their own deal.
Just have to be realistic on your trade value in today's market.
Once you swallow that pill I think you can focus on making up the value in the next one your getting, at discounted prices.

My latest thoughts/question has to do with the 30%, now 50% sale on Fountain accessories at Shogren. What is the motivation behind that ????

Hey....whats wrong with 50????We owned a 38/600 boat with bravos, it was an 06, traded it on an 07 38/700 boat. 600 boat has some of advantages, if you dont like the 6 drive boats. Bravo drives, get them serviced anywhere, Dont have to run Hering props unless you want too. 600's run on 87 octane fuel, and they can be upgraded. Also if noise is an issue, as it is in some marina's 600's can have Silent Choice installed when built. Mercury doesnt recomend it on the 700's. Down side was the speed with ours, it ran 93 mph light, and in the high 80's loaded in the summer. Their were some 600/38's that ran faster than ours, just speaking about ours. Broke an XR drive with 40 hrs on it. It was covered by warranty. Once we drove the 38/700, their was no looking back. My advice....drive them both if possible, then you decide what fits your need better. Just dont drive the 700 boat first.:drink::drink:

Getting rid of the last few pieces we have and the odd sizes are harder to sell so we lowered to 50% and will not lower from here.

Was great for me, only problem is that was 7 years ago. I just keep telling myself I need to grow up and begin to act my age, maybe 60 will be the charm. :drink:

I hear what you're saying, went that exact route when I sold the last one and moved into the one I have now. Had some friends telling me I was out of my mind to let that one go for what I did. I bought this one right, and was only interested in the cash out of my pocket to make the change rather than the numbers on either end of the deal. Next time around will be the same thought process, in reality it is the only thing that matters.

I believe your last question has been answered I guess, but will admit I was wondering the same thing. What I also wonder about is where are the 2010 Fountains? Dosen't seem to be any out there regardless of who's site you look at.

2010 ?

Only a few 2010's were built. Everything going forward once restructure is final will be 2011's. My guess is all the new boats Reggie is bringing to MIAMI will be 2011's.
