Met both Tony and Gail last Monday at Fountain, both super nice people. They had about 100 people working there mostly on fishing boats. A few special projects and a few race boats. I didnt see ANY new sport boats being made when i was there. Brain showed us around and he was a pleasure to talk to and a WEALTH of information on Fountain boats. On their outside lot was numerous new Baja boats but i didnt see any new Fountain's outside. Saratoga Stampede was there getting new power as well.

Tony and Gail have been great. Very friendly, and never too busy to talk to me. I've had the phone ring a few times with no answer, but generally if I call a little later I get right though. If you have a direct extension to Tony or Gail leave a message, they call right back. I'm sure they're doing the job of 10 people, but they never act like I'm inconveniencing them.

Depending on the reason for the call, they then have to coordinate service (sometimes thousands of miles away), provide warranty authorizations, and track down answers to questions (many about boats that are ten or more years old). Believe me, everyone wants a copy of the performance report for their specific boat. In addition to these responsibilities, they also field parts orders, and see that the orders are filled and shipped.
Just thought I would provide some perspective from the other side of customer service, so that response time expectations, are realistic. I have worked with both Tony and Gail, and I know that they try to help everyone that calls or emails.

Rackster sounds like you know a little about the goings on at Fountain.....I see your avatar is a little teaser on the cig how about a full boat pic?......saw the engines at Joey's over the weekend....it's gonna be a nice package
