Three blades are old school junk. The four blades are the way to go. It handled great and got on plane much faster.I think 5 blades will work better on a step hull than a traditional v . I would try 16.5 x28 or 17 x28 four blades.What kind of rpms are you getting with the 3 blades and what gear ratio are the drives.

Joe, if you've got the power to push em, you might wanna try a set of 17x28 or 29 4 blades. What rpm are you spinning the 3 bladers ??
